Notes for Advertising on CBF

If the customer wants to pay for the advertisement on the English edition of China Business Focus in renminbi, the Chinese currency will be converted into the USD based on the exchange rate of the contract-signing day. Further, to give our customer more privilege, we will advertise for free on the Chinese edition if the customer wants us to promote for him on the English edition.

Notes for advertising:

China Business Focus is published on the first day of each month.

China Business Focus is printed with full-color double coated art papers with size of 210mm (width) X 275mm (height) and an extra bleed size of 3mm in width and height respectively. Cover paper: 200g coat + film. Inside paper: 80g double coat.

The contract for next month’s advertising must be signed by the 12th day of each month, and the filming for next month’s advertising must be delivered to China Business Focus by the 15th day.

China Business Focus adopts a preliminary charging system for advertising with the paying being the same day with the delivery of advertising filming.

The page of advertising is generally arranged by China Business Focus. An extra 10 percent will be collected if the customer designates the insider page for advertising.

The advertising customer must submit relevant certificates for examination in line with the Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China.

The content of the advertisement must abide by relevant rules of he Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of China.

A written contract with legal force needs to be signed with China Business Focus if the customer wants to subscribe for an advertisement in advance. If the customer or its advertising agent breaks the contract without negotiation, China Business Focus reserves the right of resolving the matter through legal means.

The customer needs to notify China Business Focus 30 days in advance if it fails to put its advertisement according to the contract, otherwise, the customer needs to pay 50 percent of the amount of the contract as punishment. If the customer wants to change any part of the advertisement, the advertising price and page, which have already been confirmed, will be cancelled.

If China Business Focus doesn’t receive the filming from the customer, who put a series of advertisements on the magazine, at the prescribed day, it will select the advertising filming of last month.

If China Business Focus carries the responsibility for the errors in the advertisement published, it will advertise another one for free as compensation. China Business Focus should not carry any responsibility for the errors appeared in the advertisement because of the reasons of the advertising customer or its agent company.

China Business Focus reserves the right of dealing with the advertising material after publication. If the customer wants to take back the material, it needs to give China Business Focus a written notice, otherwise China Business Focus does not carry any responsibility for the loss or damage of the material.
